Michael is a Registered Psychologist who holds a Master of Science in Clinical Neuropsychology from Bournemouth University and a doctorate in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Alberta. He completed his pre-doctoral residency through the Edmonton Cross-Specialty Psychology Residency Consortium, with clinical rotations in brain injury and psychological trauma. His clinical practice focuses on adult mental health, with particular expertise in traumatic brain injury, ADHD, and diagnostic assessment.

Michael uses evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and trauma-focused approaches such as prolonged exposure. His goal is to enhance coping skills, emotional well-being, and overall functioning through a supportive, individualized approach.

Michael also specializes in comprehensive psychological assessment, with the goal of helping clients gain clarity about their cognitive and emotional functioning, identify underlying sources of their symptoms, and establish diagnostic clarity.
